Hanger Burn-Off Oven

The hanger burn-off oven (hook burning oven or hanger cleaning oven) is a special oven used in powder coating plants to clean the old coating layer off the coating hangers by burning it away.

Hanger Cleaning: Coating hangers become coated with layer upon layer of paint over time. This reduces electrical conductivity and coating adhesion.

Burning at High Temperature: The hangers are heated in a controlled manner to very high temperatures (generally 400–500 °C) so that the coating on them is completely carbonised.

Restoring Conductivity: Once cleared of the coating layer, the hangers return to their bare metal surface, thereby increasing the effectiveness of electrostatic charging.

Reuse: It reduces operating costs by extending the service life of the hangers.
