Canopy-Type Ovens

The Canopy Oven (Canopy Type Oven) is a continuous-type oven model with a top section designed in a "canopy" shape, used for curing parts carried by a conveyor system in electrostatic powder coating or wet paint (liquid coating) lines. Generally a derivative of tunnel-type ovens, its design allows the conveyor to pass overhead and the parts to swing freely.

  • Curing on the Conveyor: Parts are hung on the conveyor line with hangers and cured with hot air as they pass through the oven's canopy structure.
  • Suitable for Large and Tall Parts: Its top section is wider than the closed tunnel type, allowing long, tall or bulky parts to be conveyed with ease.
  • Continuous Production: Provides mass production along the line without requiring stop-and-go operation.
  • Energy Efficiency: Heat loss is reduced through heat compartments and air curtains.

Advantages

• Easy conveying of tall parts with the overhead hanger conveyor

• Ideal for uninterrupted production

• More flexible use of height compared to the tunnel type

• Different temperature settings can be applied in different zones thanks to zoning

• A design that minimizes energy loss
