Webb Conveyor

The Webb conveyor takes its name from the heavy-duty conveyor systems generally developed by the Jervis B. Webb Company and is known especially for overhead chain conveying systems. These conveyors are used on industrial lines requiring high strength, long service life and continuous operation.

Features

Heavy-duty design: Can carry loads of tons with robust chain sizes such as 7/8", 3" and 4".

Suitable for continuous operation: Designed for 24/7 production lines.

High conveying capacity: Capacity from 100 kg to several tons per hanger.

Robust rail and chain structure: Hardened steel rails resistant to wear, forged steel chain links.

Modular structure: The line layout can be easily modified, with sections added or removed.

Incline and turning capability: 90° turns and vertical ascents/descents can be performed smoothly.

Low maintenance requirement: Requires no maintenance other than lubrication for a long time, even under heavy loads.

Various drive options: Electric-motor chain drive or combined systems.

Automation integration: Compatible with sensors, speed control systems and PLCs.

Functions

Material handling: Transports parts along the production line, from raw material to finished product.

Transition through oven, paint booth and assembly line: Ensures the transfer of parts between processing stations.

Transporting heavy parts without manpower: Increases occupational safety and reduces labor costs.

Conveying at fixed or adjustable speed: Speed can be controlled according to the production pace.

Creating storage and buffer zones: Products can be held and queued.

Saving space with overhead conveying: Frees up floor usage and expands the working area.
