Bar Transfer Conveyor

Bar Transfer Conveyor
The bar transfer conveyor is a type of conveyor that enables parts to be transferred mechanically or automatically between different lines or stations, especially in powder coating plants, wet paint lines and some assembly lines. It takes its name from the way the conveying movement is carried out by transferring from one bar (rail track) to another.
Features
• Rail-to-rail transfer mechanism: Provides controlled transfer from the main conveying rail (bar) to another.
• Vertical or horizontal transfer capability: Parts can be routed to different heights or side lines.
• Automatic or manual control: Can operate with PLC-controlled automation systems or operator control.
• Heavy and light load capacity: From 10 kg to several hundred kilograms depending on the hanger capacity.
• Robust mechanical structure: Industrial steel rails, bearing-mounted transfer arms and chain-driven systems.
• Space-saving design: Ideal for line changes and routing, especially in tight spaces.
• High-speed and safe transfer: Minimizes the risk of product dropping or collision.
• Compatibility with different conveyor types: Can be integrated with Power & Free, Webb or monorail systems.
Functions
• Product transfer between lines: Provides automatic transition from one production line to another.
• Station bypass: Certain stations can be disabled and the product sent directly to the next stage.
• Support for high-capacity production: Increases production capacity by operating on parallel lines.
• Routing for different processes: For example, some of the same parts can go to powder coating and others to wet paint.
• Sorting at oven inlets/outlets: Distributes parts to different temperature zones or waiting areas.
• Automation integration: Operates compatibly with robots, sensors and speed control systems.
